The CMS Center for Program Integrity awards contract for Provider Enrollment Appeals & Rebuttals
services to C-HIT
C-HIT is pleased to announce that on August 3, 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
(CMS), Center for Program Integrity (CPI), Provider Enrollment and Oversight Group (PEOG) selected us
to provide the Appeals and Rebuttals services related to provider enrollment administrative actions,
with a purpose of ensuring that all current and prospective providers and suppliers receive a fair and full
opportunity to challenge applicable provider enrollment administrative actions rendered by CMS. This
task order is part of a larger CMS PEO IDIQ contract aimed at detecting, preventing, and proactively
deterring fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
