What is PEO IDIQ?
The Provider Enrollment & Oversight vehicle is a multiple award IDIQ contract for CMS. This vehicle enables C-HIT to provide customers with strategic, technical, and program management advice, guidance, and support services to facilitate detection, prevention, and proactively deterring fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Why PEO?
  • $2 billion ceiling
  • No administrative fee
  • Shortened procurement lead time
  • Access to high-quality industry partners
  • Partners offer Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
  • Small business set-aside
  • Socioeconomic credit potential

  • How to use the PEO IDIQ?
The use of PEO is no different from using any other procurement vehicle. Business component representatives (Contracting Officer’s Representative, Government Task Leads, Division Directors) should reach out to their respective OAGM counterparts (Contracting Officer, Contract Specialist) or their respective OPDIV contract shop to indicate a new effort or re-procurement is being sought and they wish to use the PEO IDIQ for that effort. All necessary procurement procedures and documents needed for any other procurement effort are the same for using PEO (e.g., Sources Sought, Acquisition Plan, Statement of Work, and Independent Government Cost Estimate).
