A holistic approach to problem solving and product development that involves people throughout the entire development process.
The Human Centered Design (HCD) process is focused on gaining a deep understanding of the people who use the product, service, or digital experience. The process involves interviews and observational research to understand what is working and what is not working, and to identify opportunities to improve that experience. The federal government has identified HCD as a best practice for all agencies to use to help improve customer experience and reduce costs.
C-HIT has integrated HCD into its Agile software development process. We bring cross-functional teams to meet with stakeholders and users to identify opportunities and challenges, and then to use a co-creation process to develop solutions aligned with business and user objectives that deliver results.
