C-HIT Achieves CMMI Maturity Level 5 Appraisal for Development and Services
Appraisal Demonstrates Commitment to Quality, Process Maturity, Customer Best-Value
Chags Health Information Technology, LLC (C-HIT), a healthcare technology company, achieved its appraisal at CMMI Maturity Level 5 (ML 5) for Development and Services. The appraisal positions C-HIT among an elite group of U.S. organizations with this same appraisal level.

“The highest level of appraisal from such a prestigious organization as CMMI reiterates our relentless commitment to delivering the highest quality in our offerings to maximize the return on our customers’ technology investments,” said Manoj Chaganti, co-founder and chief operations officer at C-HIT. “The appraisal also reinforces our goal to provide operational insight and optimization to customers through executive dashboards for better decision-making,” he added.

According to CMMI’s guidelines, each maturity level builds on the previous levels by adding new functionality or rigor, with Level 5 being the highest. By practicing at CMMI ML5, C-HIT is considered to be Optimizing, which is defined by CMMI as focused on continuous improvement and able to respond to opportunity and change.

Since inception in May 2013, C-HIT has been awarded over $150 million in government and commercial health technology contracts. The company is also an awardee on other federal IDIQ programs, including GSA MAS.
