Chags Health Information Technology, LLC (C-HIT) successfully completed its re-assessment at
Maturity Level 5 for CMMI 2.0, continuing its position among an elite group of organizations that
possess this appraisal level for both Development and Services.

According to CMMI’s guidelines, each maturity level builds on the previous levels by adding new functionality or rigor, with Level 5 being the highest. Practicing at CMMI 2.0 ML5 makes C-HIT that rare small business organization that is considered to be Optimizing, which is defined by CMMI as focused on continuous improvement and able to respond to opportunity and change.
