CMMI Level 5 (Dev and Svcs) Appraisal Underscores Ongoing Commitment to Quality Delivery
Chags Health Information Technology, LLC (C-HIT) successfully completed its re-assessment at
Maturity Level 5 for CMMI 2.0, continuing its position among an elite group of organizations that
possess this appraisal level for both Development and Services.
“Our CMMI L5 re-assessment is just another example of the organizational investments we are willing to
make to ensure the very best service delivery for our customers,” said Manoj Chaganti, co-founder and
chief operations officer at C-HIT. “This appraisal reinforces our goal to deliver world-class processes,
highly qualified resources, and exceptional value to both existing and future client agencies,” he added.
According to CMMI’s guidelines, each maturity level builds on the previous levels by adding new
functionality or rigor, with Level 5 being the highest. Practicing at CMMI 2.0 ML5 makes C-HIT that
rare small business organization that is considered to be Optimizing, which is defined by CMMI as
focused on continuous improvement and able to respond to opportunity and change.
