Chris is passionate about enabling customers to achieve their business objectives through technology solutions and services. As the Vice President for a prominent, enterprise-wide program with CMS, Chris works with the team to identify business drivers, address complex issues, and deliver results on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction and 99.99% uptime. Under his direction, this mission-essential project has seen substantial organic growth based on customer demand and the introduction of new innovation and business value.
A hands-on leader, Chris is equally focused on the success of all clients, his team members, and C-HIT. Beyond providing program leadership, Chris has established a Corporate Leadership Development program to strengthen C-HIT’s delivery capabilities at all levels. Thirty-five cross-functional C-HIT team members graduated from the first class of this initiative. Before joining C-HIT, Chris oversaw $275 million in program delivery of complex projects for several large companies, including Lockheed Martin and CACI as well as supporting the launch of a comprehensive IT Services program at CMS CMMI. In addition, he also led Clinical Analytics initiatives at Johns Hopkins Medicine related to patient safety, quality, and research.
Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from Trinity College, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from George Washington University. In addition, he completed the Leadership program in Transforming Health Care Systems for Accountable Care from Johns Hopkins’ School of Public Health, and recently completed the Artificial Intelligence: Strategies for Leading Business Transformation program at the Northwestern University Kellogg School. He received his certification as a Project Management Professional in 2010 and his SAFe Scrum Master certification in 2019.
When Chris is not working with his team, he enjoys traveling, learning, and cooking.
